With Elephant Lake Safaris

Day and night game drives in open-top, 4×4 safari vehicles, as well as guided walking safaris, give you the opportunity to experience breath-taking landscapes over lakes, ocean and dunes.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park

The park hosts 526 bird species, and many more animal species including the endangered white rhino, cape buffalo, leopard, hippo, zebra, duiker, kudu and many others.

By far our most popular activity – Elephant Lake Safari’s night drives allow you to explore this spectacular park from a completely new angle. Keep your spotlight light at the ready and your eyes peeled for the different world that comes alive when the sun goes down. Find predators and the move, and perhaps stumble across the nocturnal wildlife like civets, genets, bush babies, aardwolf and so many more rare or shy species.
